Using a cell phone, local residents can ask questions and get information from their library’s reference staff. All you need is a cell phone enabled to send and receive text messages.
1. Set the message to go to “5555–the required number”
2. Type mylocallib, followed by a space, followed by your question.
Here are some examples:
— mylocallib who are the U.S. senators from NJ
— mylocallib what computer classes are available at the library
— mylocallib do you have the 4th season of Lost on DVD
3. Send.
You will get an answer as soon as possible, often within the hour.
