About
This is a website for the 21st century. It can help libraries promote their services and events…but it does even more – it helps build a community online for the library.
Cicero Designs understands that libraries are packed with resources, information and news, so we have attempted to provide a space for everything without the website becoming to busy, confusing or overwhelming for users. We have also made sure that every feature implemented is simple to administer for your staff.
In addition, we believe the library, and community at large, is better served by expanding the administration of the website to allow multiple users to administer portions without compromising security. This means that Book Clubs, Reviewers, Historians, and others can update and manage content for their section as exemplified in this demo website.
This website is full of example content, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to explore certain areas. The review sections in particular are designed to provide a mulitimedia experience for book and film reviews. The Book Clubs are examples that show how individual areas can be customized for that demographic…The Teen Book Club section incorporates Web 2.0 features that will help bond youth with the library community.
